Jack is hardcore as fuck

scare me like one of your french girls

For money money, the most interesting thing about this confrontation is how completely it inverts the final scenes of a typical Disney film. In most cases, the hero is physically and/or supernaturally outmatched, and triumphs through determination and ingenuity; here, the villain spends the the whole fight running scared, while the protagonist casually no-sells everything that’s thrown at him. And there’s no ironic Disney Death keeping the protagonist’s hands clean, either. Jack just straight-up murders Oogie with malice aforethought while Oogie is running away - and by having Santa Claus himself strike the final blow, the film legitimises Jack’s killing of Oogie as the morally correct course of action.

You don’t fuck around with the motherfucking pumpkin king

prostheticknowledgeLEGObot 3D Printer

A 3D printing machine prototype made out of LEGO - not a top end solution yet but works in principle. Video embedded below:Ever since I saw the first makerbot, I have been obsessed with 3D printing, but I am an engineering student so I don’t have an extra $800-$2500, and have been doing my best to create one out of what I have on hand. I tried arduino with easy drivers, and parallel port, but neither one gave results, I always needed a tool or part that I couldn’t get.  So I pulled out my old box of legos and started building.

This is a project I have been working on for the past year, it prints in hot glue and made almost completely out of legos.  Based roughly on the first version of the makerbot, while it does print, I would call this more of a prototype than a finished project. Instructions to make your own and more info can be found at Instructables here

Draco’s seriously made me so happy. I can totally see his character developing into some kind of magical doctor. You know, instead of hurting people like he did his entire career at Hogwarts, now he’s helping save them. Whoever did this, well done. Well done.

I think the reason why Robin Williams death hit a lot of people hard, (myself included) is because his acting is a direct link to your past, whether it was Mrs Doubtfire, Dead Poets Society, Hook, Patch Adams, Aladdin, etc the fact of the matter is a part of the fabric of your young life is now gone, so you feel an actual real loss, over a man you’ve never met.

yes.
